| Description: Short-term, interim contract (4-month base period, and two, 1-month option periods). The requirement provides ICE with continuous access to a commercial, web-based License Plate Reader (LPR) database to support authorized law enforcement and investigative activities. The service is used by personnel within Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), and the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).
The LPR database enables authorized investigators to query license plate data to identify vehicles associated with criminal activity, immigration enforcement matters, and internal misconduct investigations. The information supports the development, validation, and follow-up of investigative leads and may be used in conjunction with other authorized investigative methods to build evidence for administrative actions and criminal prosecutions.
The subscription supports integration with ICE case-management workflows and provides evolving LPR capabilities that strengthen ICE’s ability to conduct investigations involving public safety, national security, and immigration law enforcement. |
