| Description: The United States Coast Guard (USCG), in partnership with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Operations (AMO), has a follow-on requirement for aircraft modification ("missionization") services to install the government-owned Minotaur Mission System Suite (MSS+) on new production C-130J aircraft. This effort is critical for converting the baseline airframes into a common HC-130J configuration that will support the USCG's Long Range Surveillance (LRS) and CBP's Extended Border Foreign Operations Surveillance (EBFOS) programs. The work requires the installation and testing of components as depicted in a common government-owned Technical Data Package (TDP), as well as the incorporation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs). The acquisition will begin with a base requirement for the missionization of four (4) aircraft (three USCG, one CBP), with subsequent options for additional aircraft to provide flexibility in fulfilling the complete missionization requirements for both USCG and CBP. The acquisition may include optional scope for incorporating emerging requirements and addressing Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS). |
