| Description: The 282-FT USCGC ALEX HALEY (WMEC-39) Ship Service Switchboards are no longer supportable and require replacement. This project entails the replacement of the ship's service switchboards through a comprehensive three-phase process covering design, fabrication, and installation support. The new 450 VAC, three-phase switchboard must adhere to strict dimensional constraints, with a maximum size of 192 inches in length, 25.25 inches in depth, and 81 inches in height, and must be built to UL 891 and IEEE 45 standards. Designed for a marine environment, it will consist of four separable sections to facilitate rigging and installation and must withstand up to 45° rolls and 10° pitch. Additionally, the vendor will be required to perform critical electrical system analyses, including studies on fault currents, protective device coordination, arc flash, and failure modes. |
