| Requirements Title: CGC HEALY HANGER DOOR REPLACE |
| Description: Replace the port and starboard hangar door systems aboard CGC Healy (WAGB-20) with new, fully functional assemblies that eliminate Foreign Object Debris (FOD) hazards and restore full helicopter hangaring capability. The new doors must fill as much of the hangar opening as possible, use the existing structure, and be at least 16 feet wide. The doors must accommodate an H-60 helicopter (folding rotor and tail variant), meet the requirements of a Type 1 door in MIL-DTL-45151 except for sections 3.4.2.5, 3.4.2.6, and 3.4.2.11, operate reliably in Arctic conditions, and be compatible with NAVAIR Certification. The new door systems must ensure safe, routine aviation operations and restore CGC Healy’s full operational readiness. |
