| Description: The United States Secret Service (USSS) Technical Security Division (TSD) provides unique and specialized security measures in support of the agency’s protective mission. This is a non-personal services contract to provide and outfit six (6) special purpose protective equipment delivery vehicles. The USSS TSD has increased operational requirements to provide transparent armor to a growing list of agency protectees. As part of that increased operational tempo, the Technical Security Division has a need to procure and develop a special purpose armor delivery system to be used worldwide. In addition to the increase in mission, the current fleet of special purpose vehicles is inadequate and reaching their end of expected service life. |
