Requirements Title: OB3 FC SDC MUR Construct VMF for Newton-Azrak Station DB Task Order
Description: This project is a design-build effort to develop a new vehicle support compound at the Newton-Azrak Border Patrol Station in Murrieta, CA, including a vehicle maintenance facility, wash facility, vacuum island, fueling facility, and impound lot. The contractor will perform all sitework, grading, utilities, paving, and retaining walls, integrating new power, communications, and surveillance infrastructure with the existing station. The vehicle maintenance facility will include multiple maintenance and alignment bays, a steam-cleaning bay, locker rooms, HVAC and ventilation systems, bay drainage with oil/water separation, permanent pneumatic and power systems, and all required furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The project also adds a centralized area video surveillance system and electronic security systems for all new facilities and the parking areas, in compliance with CBP physical security, access control, and cybersecurity standards. A reconfigured parking lot with covered spaces will accommodate GOVs, special purpose vehicles, and staff, while maintaining circulation for large vehicles and service trucks. The emergency power supply system will be upgraded with a new generator, automatic transfer switch, and fuel storage to support the entire station plus the new loads, along with a new incoming utility transformer and feeders. The contractor must coordinate with Southern California Edison, perform a power quality study, and ensure all new construction aligns aesthetically and functionally with the existing Border Patrol Station.
