To support the mission of the Operational Medicine Division (OMD), the Secret Service requires the design, construction, and installation of a modular Emergency Medical Services (EMS) station at the Rowley Training Center (RTC) in Beltsville, MD. This facility will serve as a centralized hub for emergency medical response, protective medicine, and EMS training operations. The objective of this project is to design, construct, and deliver a modular EMS station that meets the operational, training, and medical support needs of the Secret Service Operational Medicine Division. The facility must integrate seamlessly with existing RTC infrastructure and provide a state-of-the-art environment for emergency response and medical training. The Operational Medicine Division plays a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of Secret Service protectees and personnel. The division is tasked with providing immediate medical response during protective missions, large-scale events, and training exercises. Its mission is to deliver advanced medical capabilities and ensure operational readiness through innovative practices, education, and collaboration. To fulfill these responsibilities, the division requires a dedicated, mission-ready EMS facility at the RTC. The modular EMS station will enable the division to: Rapidly respond to medical emergencies during training and operational activities; Conduct realistic medical training simulations to prepare personnel for high-stakes scenarios; Provide a centralized location for administrative, operational, and clinical functions. The modular design will allow for rapid installation, future scalability, and adaptability to evolving mission requirements. This facility will directly support the division’s mission to safeguard the health and readiness of personnel, ensure mission success, and uphold the highest standards of medical care and compliance. | |
