Requirements Title: Financial Support Services
Description: The DHS S&T is tasked with researching and organizing the scientific, engineering, and technological resources of the United States and leveraging these existing resources into technological tools to help protect the homeland. The DHS S&T Finance and Budget Division (FBD) supports S&T by efficiently managing financial resources to maximize S&T’s ability to deliver on its mission to strengthen America’s security and resiliency by providing knowledge products and innovative technology solutions for the Homeland Security Enterprise (HSE). FBD is responsible for the fiscal management of the S&T appropriations and the Director is S&T’s Chief Financial Officer for the financial administration of all programs directly under the cognizance of the Under Secretary. To support FBD’s responsibilities FBD requires a full range of financial management support services using a variety of financial procedures. These financial management functions include accounting, auditing, financial analyst support services, Travel Management Support Services, Bank Card support, Conference Management Support, Travel, Front Office Support, and SharePoint Development and Management. The DHS S&T goal is to obtain the best value goods and services for our DHS customers through the continuous improvement of our processes for managing financial processes to ensure all actions conform to law and the preservation of the public’s trust.
