| Description: The project requires the design and renovation of an existing Building 37 warehouse building to accommodate a laundry operation at the Port Isabel Detention Center in Los Fresnos, TX. The mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the building will be upgraded as needed to accommodate the new commercial sized washers and dryers. The roofing will be replaced with a standing seam metal roof. Rusted and deteriorated flashing shall be replaced in order to provide roofing warranty as required. Work includes resizing the mechanical room, constructing a storage room to house chemicals, upgrading the lighting system, providing fire suppression system, and interior finishes. The perimeter and interior fencing will be modified to meet security needs. A new concrete area for parking and laundry receiving/distribution shall be designed and installed. This facility is to be fully ABA accessible. |
