Description: This requirement is for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Human Resources Management (HRM) to procure Pre-Employment and Post-Employment medical services, drug collection/testing, and fitness testing to support the HRM, CBP Hiring Center (CBP HC) and the HRM, National Program Division (NPD).equirement is for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Human Resources Management (HRM) to procure Pre-Employment and Post-Employment medical services, drug collection/testing, and fitness testing to support the HRM, CBP Hiring Center (CBP HC) and the HRM, National Program Division (NPD). Candidates for the Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO), Border Patrol Agent (BPA), Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), Marine Interdiction Agent (MIA), and Aviation Enforcement Agent (AEA), Agriculture Specialist (AGS), Criminal Investigator (CI), and Detection Enforcement Officer (DEO) positions receiving a conditional offer of employment are required to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination and/or Fitness Test-1 (PFT- 1) to ensure that they are medically and physically prepared to meet the demands of the Academy, and capable of performing the required tasks of the position. Additionally, candidates are also required to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test. CBP is responsible for ensuring that certain personnel are fully qualified to safely and effectively perform the essential job duties without undue risk or hazard to self or public. HRM, NPD’s post-employment requirements include medical, psychiatric, and physical evaluations in addition to support of CBP’s Drug-Free Workplace Program (DFWP). Acquisition Strategy: This is a FAR 15.3 Full and Open unrestricted competition.
