| Requirements Title: ACE Request for Development Dashboard Solution |
| Description: A Request for Development (RFD) is a formal request for ACE program enhancements. These requests support the CBP in maintaining competitiveness for the trade community and efficiency for the Federal government. CBP employs a governance approach and considers evaluation criteria that accounts for stakeholder interests when assessing additional capability needs and determining priorities for available ACE enhancement funding. As RFDs move from submission to cost estimate development, they often undergo many iterations of review and updates, which require many layers of communication between multiple RFD stakeholders. Additionally, the number of data fields collected in the process that need to be connected to a dashboard is quite large and are collected from multiple different sources throughout the process. Much of the RFD process is facilitated via email correspondence, and the relevant data is maintained in multiple locations. As a result, tracking and maintaining accountability is difficult and highly time consuming.
Under Phase One (Base Period) of this task order, the scope is to deliver a comprehensive data dashboard solution capturing all key RFD data. The purpose of the data dashboard is to consolidate RFD data into a centralized location and provide stakeholders with a complete overview of the RFD process throughout the process lifecycle. Upon successful deployment of the data dashboard, Phase Two (Option Periods) of this requirement is to deliver an automated solution for RFD data entry automation and task management.
