Requirements Title: Geospatial Capabilities and Infrastructure Technical Support Services (GCIS) 3.0
Description: The GMO is responsible for delivering a common operating environment for geospatial services and enterprise situational awareness and visualization of operational/mission data. The GII platform is a body of enterprise data, application services, and infrastructure governed by the Geospatial Services Architecture following DHS Enterprise Architecture principles and built to meet common geospatial requirements across the broad DHS mission space. The GII platform provides a public/private cloud infrastructure and integration framework to supply standards-based geo-visualization services, geo-analytics, common geospatial operating data, and geospatial content delivery services. The organization relies on ESRI Portal and ESRI SaaS Offering for various geospatial applications, including situational awareness, mapping, spatial analysis, and data visualization. These tools are critical for decision-making processes and operational efficiency. To maintain and enhance these capabilities, the organization requires comprehensive IT support and custom development services. This GCIS 3.0 contract will be a task order on the Geospatial Technical Support Services (GTSS) 3.0 Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Given the pace of change in geospatial information technology, it is impossible to anticipate how individual GMO requirements – and the marketplace – will evolve over the life of this contract. The GCIS 3.0 scope is intended to accommodate advances in technology that will allow it to continue to improve DHS enterprise mission performance. Throughout the life of this contract, the GCIS 3.0 Contractor is encouraged to seek ways to incorporate innovative and emerging technologies that, in the most economic and efficient manner and with a view to return on investment objectives, improve both information technology system performance and (more importantly) support and improve DHS enterprise mission performance.
