Description: Design/Build new barracks facilities at TRACEN Cape May, NJ. The scope of work includes but is not limited to; construction of - barracks buildings large enough to accommodate an annual recruit throughput of 5,600 recruits. The exact number of barracks buildings may vary; demolition and disposal of abandoned steam trenches and building old foundations, relocation of electrical duct banks and salvaging of transformers, temporary office trailer setup, construction of new VIP review stand, grandstands with cantilevered shading and new parade path. This project can be delivered in two phases. During phase 1, the existing MCPOCG (Bldg. 911) along with James and Healy Halls will be demolished. Two temporary office trailers will be provided complete with water, sewer, electrical and C5IT connections. Phase 2 will require construction of all new barracks facilities, construction of several other facilities is also required. The phasing of these additional facilities shall be determined by the Designer of Record (DOR) in coordination with the TRACEN Cape May Facility Engineering Office.

Requirement This project will construct a 66,594 GSF three-story Recruit Barracks and Classrooms facility at Training Center (TRACEN) Cape May, Cape May, New Jersey.
