Requirements Title: Improve and Support CG COOL | |
Description: The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) requires qualified personnel to review occupational analysis on military qualifications and training. The research conducted by the contractor will link the Coast Guard's 23 enlisted specialties, 20 chief warrant officer types, 52 officer specialties, 198 collateral duties and 232 federal job series to relevant civilian specialties. These civilian specialties shall come in the form of equivalent civilian jobs, apprenticeships, licensing and credentialing. Furthermore, the research conducted will identify resources and pathways for service members to obtain these jobs, licenses, and credentials. The compiled research shall be available to all service members via a user interface hosted on a portal site or USCG workstation. The USCG currently uses the Coast Guard Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (CG COOL) tool and intends to solicit the incumbent contractor on a sole source basis to continue technical support of its tool. | |
