Requirements Title: Tactical Communications (TACCOM) Program Support
Description: The Federal Protective Service (FPS) Information Technology Division (ITD) is responsible for all aspects of Tactical Communications (TACCOM) within the agency, including three (3) dispatch and alarm monitoring centers (MegaCenters) in support of 1,500 Federal Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) and more than 13,000 contract Protective Security Officers (PSO) charged with protecting more than 9,000 facilities located throughout the United States. This effort will secure the appropriate contract personnel to support the FPS TACCOM Program for the successful completion of multiple initiatives and projects in various stages of the Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC). This effort includes contract personnel to support the following initiatives but is not limited to: • Tactical Communication Lifecycle Sustainment • Router refresh • 5G redundancy • ServiceNow development and management • Subscriber Unit Acquisition • 2,500 LEO portable and mobile multi-band subscriber units. • 7,500 PSO portable single band subscriber units. • Installation, maintenance, programming and alignment of various types of subscriber units. • LMR Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Support • Support all aspects of a nationwide LMR system consisting of over 200 RF sites. • RF licensing • Mobile Command Vehicle Technical Refresh • Mobile Communications Trailer buildout • ServiceNow development and management • MegaCenter VoIP Project • Nice Recording Upgrade
